Empower the Dead [General]
Your command over necromantic forces strengthens the bodies of the undead you create, allowing them to move with unnatural vigor.
Prerequisites: Ability to cast animate dead.
Benefit: Any skeletons or zombies you create gain the following benefits:
- Maximum Hit Points: Each undead you create has maximum hit points per Hit Die.
- Unnatural Speed: The base land speed of such undead increases to 30 feet if it would normally be lower.
- Relentless Motion: Undead you create are no longer restricted from taking the run action and may run as normal for their speed.
These benefits apply only to undead you personally create via spells or abilities such as animate dead, and persist for as long as the undead remain under your control.
Normal: Skeletons and zombies have hit points based on their Hit Dice (not maximized), and zombies are normally unable to run. Some skeletons may also have reduced mobility depending on their form.
Special: A necromancer (such as a wizard specializing in necromancy) may select Empower the Dead as a bonus feat at the DM’s discretion.
