Faerie
Faeries are elusive fey creatures tied deeply to the rhythms of nature and the hidden places of the world. Though often playful and curious, they are also cautious, preferring subtlety and misdirection over direct confrontation. Some, however, are drawn to the wider world, following adventurers out of curiosity or quiet purpose.
Racial Traits

+4 Dexterity, –4 Strength, +2 Constitution, +2 Charisma
Faeries are agile and resilient despite their size, but physically weak. - Type: Fey

Size: Tiny
+2 bonus to AC and attack rolls, +8 bonus on Hide checks, –8 penalty on grapple checks, lifting and carrying limits 1/2 those of Small creatures. - Base Speed: 10 ft.
- Fly Speed: 60 ft. (good maneuverability)
Special Qualities
Low-Light Vision (Ex):
A faerie can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions.
Damage Reduction (Ex):
DR 5/cold iron.
Faerie Camouflage (Ex):
A faerie may use the Hide skill in any natural terrain, even if it does not grant cover or concealment.
Woodland Snare (Sp):
A faerie may use entangle 1/day as a spell-like ability (caster level equal to character level; save DC 10 + spell level + Cha modifier).
Glamour Form (Su):
At will, a faerie may assume a Small humanoid form (as alter self, self only). While in this form:
- The faerie loses its fly speed
- Its Strength becomes 10 (if lower)
- Its Dexterity becomes 10 (if higher than 10, use 10 instead)
- Natural size bonuses and penalties are replaced with those of a Small creature
This is a physical transformation, not an illusion.
Fey Resilience (Ex):
Faeries gain a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against enchantment effects.
Skills
- +8 racial bonus on Hide checks (already includes size bonus)
- +2 racial bonus on Listen, Spot, and Search checks
- +2 racial bonus on Perform checks
Weapon Familiarity (Optional - DM Approval)
Faeries treat any weapon with “faerie” in its name (if present in the campaign) as a martial weapon.
Automatic Languages: Sylvan, Common
Bonus Languages: Elven, Draconic, Halfling, Goblin, Terran, Treant, and others common to forest regions
Favored Class: Sorcerer or Rogue
A multiclass faerie’s sorcerer or rogue class does not count when determining XP penalties.

- Old: 800 years
- Venerable: 1,100 years
- Maximum Age: +5d% years
Height and Weight
- Height: 2 ft. + 2d6 inches
- Weight: 25 lb. + (2d4 × 1 lb.)
