Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Target: Up to 1 lb. of unattended food per caster level
Duration: Concentration (see text)
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes (object)

You channel controlled heat into raw food, cooking it precisely according to your intent. The affected food is heated evenly and can be baked, boiled, fried, roasted, or otherwise prepared as desired, though you must supply any additional ingredients (such as water, oils, or spices).

The spell produces sufficient heat to cook food thoroughly (up to approximately 500°F), but this heat is tightly contained. Objects or creatures touching the food or focus item are not harmed and feel only mild warmth.

Cooking requires the same amount of time as it would under normal circumstances. You must maintain concentration throughout the process; if concentration is broken, the food remains at whatever stage of preparation it had reached.

Using cook grants a +2 circumstance bonus on Craft (cooking) checks related to the prepared food.

Focus: A flat stone, pan, pot, or similar cooking surface capable of holding the food being prepared.
